« The site was lovely, and all the facilties were excellent. We were only a 10 minute walk from a lovely sandy beach. The only issue was our cottage was facing the the main access to the Farrant beach area, so we had steam of both foot and veichles going past the front of our cottage all day »

« Our 4th visit and possibly the best yet. As always the staff were excellent with a genuine desire to make your stay as good as possible. This year the entertainment seems to have gone up a level with more shows and a full daily activities programme. Also the reworked C57 pool has certainly enhanced the pool area. The shop was well stocked with an excellent bakery. With the site adjoining the beach and its water sports and with Vias Plage 2mins away it’s our favourite Yelloh site. »

« The benefit of this campsite is it's proximity to the sea. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. Not unexpectedly the pitches are very dusty and the strong wind kept the dust moving. Being in the garden area it was at least a 10 minute walk to the main site with the pool, bar, shop and restaurant. Unfortunately staying towards the end of the season the choice of beers at the bar was limited; no IPA, I had the last 250ml of white beer, leaving a average lager. The food at the restaurant was less than average; the pizza tasted like it had been made using a sweetened tomato sauce and the chicken burger was tasteless. »

« Lovely location and great Pitch location. However there was insufficient space to safely navigate my vehicle into the pitch. Dimensions given at time of booking. A fellow camper kindly moved his vehicle (!) to allow us the space to get in. 480mm room for a 7850 Motorhome. Showers and facilities excellent cleaning. Lack of management of electric scooter traffic with both adults and children made for dangerous pedestrian access with high speeds being utilised. »

« Great variety of activities and entertainment. We had quite a few ants on our plot in the camping section and there were lots of mosquitoes in the toilet block, entertainment area and in the camping grounds. We all got stung lots of times which we have never experienced anywhere else before. We loved the direct beach access and the pool facilities. When camping at La Farret we were unable to easily fill up a large water carrier suitable to use in a caravan. We have to fill up smaller containers to then pour into a our larger water barrel. Reception would give you a token to use the motorhome water fill up point but then wanted €1 for access to this for the token. We've never had issues accessing water stations before at any campsite, we always find campsites have taps dotted around for open access to water. »

« Overall good, I was concerned about over crowding on two nights at the entertainment shows. You only have on true entrance/ exit and should seriously consider limits in high season »

« Everything was amazing.. but only let down by poor pitch surface. We had a downpour and everything just got ruint, which wouldn’t have happened on a hard standing pitch »
